Đấy là bài Suy luận lịch sử loài người ở Đông Á từ nhiễm sắc thể Y. (Inferring human history in East Asia from Y chromosomes) * của Vương Truyền Siêu (王传超) và Lý Huy (李慧), hai học giả hàng đầu của Di truyền học Trung Quốc.

III. Nhận định.

So sánh hai kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy:

  4. Việc cộng đồng khoa học quốc tế đưa ra kết luận cuối cùng về lịch sử dân cư Đông Á là điều vô cùng quan thiết. Bởi lẽ, chỉ có trên cơ sở đó, các nhà sử học mới có tài liệu tin cậy để viết lại cuốn sử Đông Á, giải phóng các dân tộc Đông Á khỏi lịch sử lầm lạc hiện nay!

AN ARTICLE SHOWS THE FAIL

IN DISCOVERING THE HISTORY OF EAST ASIA

Ha Van Thuy

That is the essay Inferring human history in East Asia from Y chromosomes by Chuan-Chao Wang, Hui Li, two leading scholars of Chinese Genetics. With two words "inferring", the authors express caution in their view of a sensitive, controversial issue in the academic world. Using the word "inferring" also means that they are not able to make a positive conclusion. However, this is a valuable article because the authors have the merit to synthesize the materials and ideas of researchers, helping us to know the "footsteps" of the world scholars on the way to discover the East history.

I.Research results.

The article presents the following research results:

1.Once it became generally accepted that modern humans evolved recently in Africa, the times and routes of migration to East Asia remained controversial. Three different models were insisted upon by different researchers. The first model postulated that northern populations of East Asia migrated to the south, and mixed with the Australian ancestors who had settled in Southeast Asia. The second model suggested that the northern populations of East Asia evolved from the southern settlers. However, a third model assumed that northern and southern East Asian populations evolved independently since the late Pleistocene more than 10,000 years ago.

2. There are four dominant groups of Y chromosomes in East Asia: O-M175, C-M130, D-M174 and N-M231 - accounting for about 93% of the Y chromosome in East Asia. Haplogroup O-M175 is the largest haplogroup in East Asia, comprising about 75% of the population of China and more than half of the population of Japan and, therefore, related to the Neolithic migrants (Figure 1 ). O-M175 gave rise to three groups of downstream haplog - O1a-M119, O2-M268 and O3-M122 - which accounted for a total of 60% of the Y chromosome in East Asian populations . Data show that the O3-M122 haplog group in south East Asia is more diverse than the group in north East Asia, favoring the southern origin of the O3-M122.

image007Figure 1: Four groups of chromosomes

  1. Haplogroup C = Melanesian
  2. Haplogroup D = Negritoid
  3. Halogroup   N = Mongoloid
  4. Halogruop   O = Indonesian

3. Haplogroup C-M130 could represent one of the earliest settlements in East Asia. This widely distributed pattern of the C-M130 suggests that the C-M130 may have arisen somewhere in mainland Asia before modern humans arrived in Southeast Asia. The appearance of haplogroup C in Southeast Asia and Australia must be much earlier than about 60 thousand years ago. Consequently, populations with haplogroup C had to settle in East Asia approximately 10 thousand years earlier than populations with haplogroup O.

 4.  The migration history of the D-M174 haplogroup is the most mysterious. Haplogroup D-M174 has a high frequency in Andaman Negritos, northern Burmese and Ainu populations of Japan, and also occurs with low frequency in other East and Southeast Asian and Central Asian populations (Figure 1). If haplogroup D originated in Africa, it is most mysterious how it moved through haplogroup CF populations to East Asia. Another mystery is how did haplogroup D migrate from southwest Asia to Japan? If haplogroup D originated in Africa, it is most mysterious how it moved through haplogroup CF populations to East Asia. Another mystery is how did haplogroup D migrate from southwest Asia to Japan? Their lineage may have been replaced by the expansion of the C2 and K haplog groups from Papua some 18 thousand years ago or the more recent migration of the O haplogroup from mainland East Asia. However, due to lack of data, the history of haplogroup D, as a genetic legacy of the Old Stone Age in East Asia, remains a mystery.

5. Haplogroup O has a fraternal haplogroup, N-M231, which reaches the highest frequency in northern Eurasia, especially among most Uralic populations, including Finnic, Ugric, Samoyedic and Yukaghir, as well as some Altaic and Eskimo populations in northern Siberia. It also occurs with low frequency in East Asia (Figure 1). Haplogroup N migration is another testament to the southern origins of East Asians. Xue et al reported that Y-STRs had a higher diversity in populations north East Asia than in southern populations. Northern populations expanded earlier than southern populations. However, Shi et al. indicated that the greater diversity between groups of Y chromosomes observed in Northeast Asia was confirmed by Karafet et al. actually a false impression due to the recent population mix.

II. Results of our research.

Above are announced of international scholars on East Asian population history. To comment on them, there must be at least one other study to compare. Fortunately, we put a lot of effort into this. From 2005, starting with the treatise Rediscovering the Ancestors, Cultural Roots (1), then the article When Man left Africa (2), along with many published books such as Rewriting Chinese History (3), The Formation Process of The Origin and Culture of The Viet People (4) ... we publish the following statements:

1.  Prehistoric human migration is subject to two conditions: population boom that spurred migration and favorable climate. The first departure from Africa took place 135,000 years ago. The influx of people from Northwest Africa to the Middle East. Unfortunately, 90,000 years ago, the climate turned fiercely cold, the entire group of people was destroyed on the Levant land of Israel. 85,000 years ago, the second exodus happened. This time, the group passed through the Hong Hai gate to the Arabian peninsula. Being blocked by the ice wall in the North, the group split in two. Some stayed in Yemen. Some of them follow the coast of India to the East.

Later when we have more material, we will present more details: This line of people also divided into two. Some went "fast train" to Southeast Asia 80,000 years ago. But unfortunately, at the same time the temperature was fiercely low, wiping out this group of people. Archeology found only 47 of their fossil teeth at Fuyan Cave in Hunan province. Archeology found the stone tools of Homo sapiens 80,000 years ago in Australia. This proves that some "fast train" passengers have arrived in Australia, becoming the first inhabitants of the continent. The group took a slow train to Vietnam 70,000 years ago, making up the entire population of Asia.

2. To find out the formation of East Asian population, it is imperative to answer the second question: who are the people who came to Vietnam and who left Vietnam to dominate Asia? Fortunately, Nguyen Dinh Khoa (5), said: “In the New Stone Age in Vietnam, there appeared two major strains Mongoloid and Australoid. They crossed with each other and their descendants continued to cross, giving birth to four ancient Vietnamese races, Indonesian, Melanesian, Negritoid and Vedoid, of the same Australoid type. By the Iron-Age, the Southern Mongoloid appeared and became the subject of the population. Australoid people disappeared from this land, unknown due to immigration or assimilation? " From these original documents, the tracing of East Asians becomes reliable. Only the Southern migration route brings Africans to Vietnam, making up the entire population of the East.

3. 50,000 years ago, people from Vietnam migrated to the islands of Southeast Asia and took over the land of India. 40,000 years ago, due to the warmer climate, the ancient Vietnamese went to explore the Mainland. The Mongoloid group from Northwestern Vietnam followed the Western corridor of the mainland to conquer Mongolia

4. In mainland Southeast Asia including South Yangtze, the Hoa Binh created new stone tools, domesticated rice, millet, chickens, dogs, and pigs, and built an agricultural economy. About 10,000 years ago, when the Ice Age ended, the Viet brought agriculture to the Yellow River basin, planted wet rice in Jiahu and planted millet in Yangshao.

5. About 7,000 years ago, in Yangshao, the Australoid Viet mixed blood with the Northern Mongoloid nomadic in the North Yellow River, giving birth to the Southern Mongoloid strain. Then the Southern Mongoloid population increased, became the subject of the population in the Yellow River basin.

6. Around 2698 BC, the Mongols occupied the Central Yellow River, establishing the Emperor state. Due to war refugees, a part of the Viet ran down to Shouth Yangtze and then continued to Vietnam, bringing the Mongoloid gene source to modify Vietnam and Southeast Asia population to the Southern mongoloid strain. About 2000 years BC, the entire population of Vietnam carried the genetic code of Southern Mongoloid, which anthropology calls the modern Vietnamese. Due to sporadic migrants for a long time during the second half of the third millennium BC, the genetic transformation of Vietnamese people from Australoid to Southern Mongoloid took place slowly,  had no replacing mass of population, so the Vietnamese keep the highest biodiversity among Asian populations.

From our model, we comment on the research results stated in the article as follows:

i. 2004 when referring to Chu et al. (6), Stephen Oppenheimer (7), Ballinger et al. (8) and Nguyen Dinh Khoa (5) we were combining genetic knowledge, archeology and anthropology, leading to assert that there is only the Southern migration path of Homo sapiens from Africa to Vietnam, making up the entire population of East Asia. The existence of three patterns that made up the population of East Asia showed that genetics was not reliable enough in determining the route of prehistoric migration to East Asia from Africa. This makes the research unfocused, contradictory, and causing endless controversy. As a result, up to now, the world scientific community has not determined the history of Eastern population formation.

ii. Detected four groups of Y chromosome haploid in East Asian population: strain Indonesian (equivalent to group M), Melanesian (equivalent to group C), Negritos (equivalent to group D), strain Mongoloid (equivalent to group N) is successful. However, studies have not identified the origin of these strains. Hence speculation that group C was present in Southeast Asia before group O appeared as well as group D was the result of another exodus from Africa ... Such judgment is unwarranted. because in fact the only migration out of Africa occurred 85,000 years ago.

iii. The identification of the N group in Mongolia with the highest genetic diversity in the Mongoloid strain is accurate, but since the origin of this group of people is not known, a correct finding has been unjustly denied!

iv. It can be affirmed that, due to incorrect determination of the migration path to East Asia, in the studies carried out for many years, the authors seem confused, lost, leading to failure to come to real appropriate conclusions. As a result, the history of East Asian population has not been determined to date.

v.The discovery that four East Asian population groups of genetics differ from Nguyen Dinh Khoa's anthropology in that: there is only one black group Negritos D and one more Mongolian group N. While the Nguyen Dinh Khoa document does not there are Mongol strains but there are two black strains being Negritoid and Vedoid.

Please be explained as follows

- Mongoloid people left Vietnam 40,000 years ago, so they are not present in the Vietnamese population. Therefore, it is not included in the Vietnamese ancient skull collection. Of course not in Nguyen Dinh Khoa's document.

- North Mongoloid strain lived 40,000 years ago in Northern China, 7000 years ago merged with the ancient Viet to create the South Mongoloi strain. Therefore, the Mongoloid appeared in East Asia in the N genetic group.

- In East Asia, the two black strains Negritoid and Vedoid due to blood close proximity and living together, they merged into the genetic group Negritos, called group D.

III. Conclusion and recommendation.

In 2005, archaeological as well as genetic documentation is limited. Based on these initial knowledge, we have ventured to give a historical model of East Asian population. After 15 years, a lot of genetic studies and oriental archeology were published. These findings support the model we propose. For example, the discovery of the owner of Xianren Cave Zhoukoudian affirmed that the Lac Viet people went to the South Yellow River 40000 years ago. Excavation of the Fairy Cave relics of Jiangxi province, Quang Tay Cansang Guangxi ... shows that Lac Viet people have lived here since ancient times, crafting the first pottery 20,000 years ago, the earliest taming rice plants 12,400 years, making hieroglyphs 6,000 years ago ... Unfortunately, we am just an amateur researcher, written in Vietnamese, so international academic researchers do not know our works. Meanwhile they put in so much effort to push the open door!

It is hoped that this article reaches an international scholar for a common interest in exploring the history of East Asian populations. Also for this purpose we recommend:

  1. To study Eastern history, first of all, it is necessary to affirm the path of southern migration that brings modern people to Vietnam and makes up the entire population of Asia.
  2. Because many genetic studies have found that Vietnamese people have the highest biodiversity among the Asian population, a Vietnamese genetic survey project is needed to draw exact conclusions about the Vietnamese genome. From that finds relationships between Vietnamese people and other Asian communities.
  3. DNA sequencing of more than 70 ancient skulls, the largest collection currently available in Vietnam, will be the best way to trace Asian populations.
  4. When group D was born in Vietnam, then that they went to the mainland and to the West to dominate Burma, Tibet, or went to Northeast China and then invade Japan it was understandable.
  5. It is extremely important that the international humanities community reach its final conclusion about East Asian population history. Because, only on that basis, do historians have reliable documents to rewrite the history of East Asia, freeing the peoples of East Asia from the current false history!
